Split Farthing Hall
Split Farthing Hall is a peaceful 18th Century Georgian home that has been sympathetically restored into a modern luxury retreat venue in scenic North Yorkshire. It is also Andrea Maguire’s family home.
The Hall has 8 luxurious en-suite bedrooms complete with fluffy towels and bath robes. The bathrooms are crisp, modern and spacious and stocked with fabulous ayurvedic SUNDÃRI toiletries. Each room is individually decorated with beautiful views and can be either single or shared twin occupancy. There are two room types to choose from – Deluxe or Superior.
Each floor has tea making facilities with a selection of teas, herbal infusions and fresh fruit. We stock the fridges with fresh lemon and ginger plus filtered water.
Our therapeutic Spa Facilities include the relaxing outdoor hot tub, the detoxing far-infrared sauna and a spacious health studio. A range of massages and therapies is also available for you to enjoy during your stay.
We have high speed WiFi throughout the house plus there is a good mobile signal with all networks. We understand the desire for a ‘digital detox’ during your stay but appreciate the need to be contactable. We like to say although we are ‘secluded’, we are not ‘isolated’.
Within Split Farthing Hall there is a cosy snug, an oak shelved library and a formal drawing room all with warming fireplaces for those frosty winter evenings. The tranquil attic with its exposed oak trusses is the perfect place for yoga or calming meditation. Outside you can relax in a deckchair on the terrace or stroll around the garden and orchard.
If you choose to travel to us by train, we are an easy and relaxing 2½ hour journey from either London Kings Cross or Edinburgh, just 2 hours from Manchester and all direct to our local stations (Thirsk and Northallerton) from where we will collect you and return you after your retreat. Should you prefer to drive, we will send you simple but detailed driving instructions. Click here to view our location map.
Split Farthing Hall is an idyllic country setting to relax, recharge and renew.
‘Refreshed, enlightened and smiling. I feel nurtured and at peace. A beautiful setting with a fantastic group of people. Thank you Split Farthing Hall.’ Fiona M.
